Day 01 - Entry Kunming
Upon arrival in Kunming, the capital of Yunnan Province, you will love it at your first sight. It enjoys great fame among tourists not only because the region features a consistently warm climate, but also thanks to its wonderful vistas and landscapes. At the airport, you will be met and transferred to the hotel by our guide. Considering your long flight journey, we would like to leave the remainder of the afternoon and evening for you to relax.

 
Day 02 - Kunming
Today you will visit the Karst landform. of stone pillars in the Stone Forest. An old local saying says that "If you have visited Kunming without seeing the Stone Forest, you have wasted your time." Truly, the Stone Forest is one of the most important attractions of Yunnan. Major Stone Forest, Minor Stone Forest and Naigu Stone Forest, all of them feature stones in various formations. Animals, plants, and even human figures can be found here. Some are elegant, some are rugged, and each is lifelike with its own distinguishing characteristics.
 
Moreover, on the beautiful wooded Yu'an Mountain, only twelve kilometers (seven miles) northwest of Kunming, is the famous Buddhist Qiongzhu Temple. The temple and the bamboo forest that surround it have a wonderful and mysterious legend about their origins. Qiongzhu Temple is a restorative, peaceful and beautiful attraction offering natural, artistic and cultural insight. What a wonderful way to spend a few hours! (B, L)



Day 03 - Kunming/ Dali
After breakfast at tin Chinese. Implying that the lake is ear shaped and as large as a sea, hence it was so named. You wil he hotel, see you off for a flight to Dali in the early morning. Then Dali tour includes the Erhai Lake Park. Erhai lake is the largest highland lake next to Dianchi and one of the seven biggest fresh water lakes in China. It means, "Sea shaped like an ear", l also have fun in the park. And do not forget the Three Pagoda Temple. It is located on the slope of Mount Cangshan, and overlooking Erhai Lake. The Three pagodas are a must-see in your Dali tour. At last, you will have some time to stroll around the Dali Old Town. (B, L)


Day 04 - Dali/ Lijiang
You will travel to Lijiang by car. Along the way you will visit the Bai people's Tie-dying cloth with wax in Zhoucheng and their Village with the traditional architectural courtyards at Xizhou Town. Upon arrival at Lijiang, check in at the hotel and then visit the Square Street of the Lijiang Old Town. This old Town is the only old city built without a city wall and there is an interesting story telling the reason. Lijiang had been under the reign of the hereditary Mu family for more than 500 years. (B, L)


Day 05 - Lijiang
Lijiang is an ancient town as well as being a Historical and Cultural Heritage in China. It is the center of the Naxi people, a relatively small minority group with a rich culture. After visiting the Baisha Village and the Baisha Murals, you will pay a visit to a Naxi family and have a real contiguity with the local residents. Then go ahead to the Yuhu Village to visit the Rock Joseph's Former Residence. Remain afternoon free on your own leisure. This evening we will arrange you the Naxi Ancient Music and Dance Performance at the Dongba Palace after dinner is served. (B, L, D) 
  
 
Day 06 - Lijiang/ Shangri-La(Zhongdian)
You will travel to Shangri-La by car. Along the way you will visit the Tiger Leaping Gorge. This is a great sightseeing stop with enormous photo opportunities. Bring your camera, wear skid proof shoes, and be prepared to be astonished. Then you will be driven ahead to visit the First Bend of the Yangtze River at Shigu Town. Upon arrival at Shangri-La, you will check in at the hotel and rest to recovery from the fatigue. (B, L)  
 
 
Day 07 - Shangri-La
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to visit the Songzanlin Temple, which is with beautiful legend. The Songzanlin Temple consists of a group of Tibetan styled stone houses with earthen walls looking like a fortification. At the highest point in its center stand two major temples named Zhacang and Jikang，around which are eight branch temples，each in charge of a Buddhist parish．Beyond the branch temples are rooms for monks and nuns．The whole Songzanlin Temple is well arranged and majestically beautiful．The two major temples are five-storied，golden-pantile-roofed stone houses facing south．It is the biggest Tibetan Buddhist Temple in the whole region.
 
And then head over to visit the Bitahai Lake. Famed as pearl in the highlands, this lake is surrounded by wooded mountains and resembles a beer. When the flowers ryl inlaid among them. The mountains around are densely scattered with flowers in spring and summare in full bloom, the hillsides seem to be dyed red, echoing harmoniously with the clear waters in the lake. You can imagine what a splendid scenery.
 
Meanwhile, you will have a chance to visit Shudu Lake. It is famous for its clear water and quite surroundings of the area. The lake abounds in unique species of fish, with double lips and a golden color. Bordering the lake is one of the best grazing fields in Zhongdian. Every spring and summer, herds of cattle and flocks of sheep can be seen grazing here. To the east of the lake are white birch woods which in spring and summer are jade green while in late autumn the leaves turn gold. In the untouched woods, wildlife such as bear, musk dear, lynx and leopard all live.
 
Finally, you will visit a Tibetan's family to experience the local life and you will try Tibetan home-made yak and cheese. (B, L) 

 
 
Day 08 - Shangri-La - Kunming
Take a flight back to Kunming. Upon arrival, you will be met by the local guide and transferred to the hotel. Enjoy a leisure visit to the Golden Temple. You will be astonished by its resplendent and magnificent appearance. Except for the staircases and balustrades, which are made of marble, the walls, columns, rafters, roof tiles, altars, Buddha statues, wall decorations and the banner near the gate tower are all made of copper. The burnished copper gleamed like gold and that is why people named it the Golden Temple. Since its last renovation, this beloved copper temple on the top of Mingfeng Hill has been well cared and has become the most famous Taoist shrine in Yunnan Province.
 
The following scenic spot is the Daguan Park. Daguan, which means "the grand view", is the most befitting name for the park and the pavilion which are on the terminus of Daguan Road in the southwest of Kunming city, Daguan Park and Daguan Pavilion. Finally, the Flowers and Birds Market is also worth your arrival. You can stroll around with the company of tour guide. (B, L)


Day 09 - Exit Kunming
Upon completion of you memorable China tour, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight home today. (B)
